Dominick Rabrun is a multimedia artist, writer, and game developer.
Dominick’s work connects and explains the fragmented sections of his worldview, which is shaped by his first-generation Haitian-American background and a conservative Christian upbringing. Professionally, he draws on 14 years of federal work experience, combined with interests in technology, storytelling, biology, and music. His artistic practice creates a system where these diverse influences interact and inform his work. Dominick’s video piece, Dr. LaSalle, The Spider Queen, and Me, won first prize in a 2020 juried exhibition at the Phillips Collection. He was a 2022 fellow with Black Public Media. They are executive producing his game, Ki Es Ou Ye?
Dominick lives and works in Hyattsville, Maryland.
